Effective July 7, 2026 · Calgie LLC

The short version. We collect what the app needs to run your games and nothing more. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads. Your skill ratings are anonymous by design. When you delete your account, your personal data goes with it.

1. Who we are

FC Pickup is operated by Calgie LLC ("FC Pickup," "we," "us"), a Delaware limited liability company. This policy covers the FC Pickup mobile apps, the fcpickup.app website, and related services. Contact for anything in this policy: support@fcpickup.app.

2. Information we collect

Account data. Your email address, your permanent nickname, and an optional profile photo. You sign in with Apple or Google; we receive the account identifier and email address those providers share with us. We never see or store your Apple or Google password.

Game data. Group memberships, RSVPs, waitlist positions, check-ins, no-show flags, team assignments, scores, win–draw–loss records, rank tiers, skill-card values, and per-game chat messages. This is the product working as described.

Skill ratings. Ratings you submit about teammates and ratings submitted about you. Ratings are stored linked to the submitting account for integrity and anti-abuse purposes, but are only ever displayed in anonymous aggregate, and only after a minimum number of teammates have rated (a quorum).

Purchase data. Subscription and purchase status from the App Store or Google Play, received through our purchase-management provider. We never see or store your card number or full payment details.

Device and usage data. Device type, operating system version, app version, language setting, push notification token, crash and diagnostic logs, and product analytics events (for example, which screens are used) that help us understand and improve the app.

Location data. With your permission, we collect your device's location to show nearby groups and games and how far away they are, to verify attendance when you check in at a game (your position is compared to the venue's pin), and to set the general area of groups you create. We store an approximate location on your profile; you can set it manually instead of using device location, and you can turn location off in Settings at any time (some features, like GPS check-in and distance display, won't work without it). Venue addresses and pins chosen by hosts are stored as game data. We never use location for advertising and never share it except with the service providers in Section 5.

Support data. Emails you send us and the reports you file in the app (reports of players, groups, or messages), which are reviewed by our team.

3. How we use it

We use this information to: run games (RSVPs, waitlists, promotions, reminders, check-ins, team assignment, results); keep records honest (attendance verification, rating quorums, anti-manipulation checks); send notifications you've enabled; process and restore purchases; respond to support requests and reports; monitor, debug, and improve the service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. What other people can see

Members of your groups see your nickname, profile photo, RSVP status, attendance, W-D-L record, rank tier, and skill card. Hosts and co-admins of a group additionally see your no-show flags within that group. Per-game chat is visible to that game's participants.

No one, including hosts, can see who rated whom, or any individual rating.

Invite links (fcpickup.app/g/… and fcpickup.app/s/…) show a public preview: group or game name, time, venue name, and player counts. Previews never include member lists, records, or chat.

5. Service providers

We share data only with the vendors we need to operate, each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us: cloud hosting and database (Convex), purchase management (RevenueCat), the app stores (Apple, Google), transactional email (Resend), push notification delivery (Expo, Apple, Google), crash reporting (Sentry), and product analytics (PostHog).

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of users or the public, and where allowed we'll tell you first. If Calgie LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, this policy continues to apply to your data.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active.

Deleting your account(Settings → Account → Delete account) removes your sign-in credentials, profile, email, photo, and push tokens, and deletes your notifications. Your chat messages, ratings, and attendance flags are immediately disassociated from you (anonymized), and finalized game results are retained in anonymized form. Your name comes off them, but the 3–2 stays, so other players' records remain true. Residual copies leave backups within 30 days.

Subscription lapseis not deletion: if a Host+ subscription lapses, that host's groups stay readable and are retained. Only the creation of new games stops.

Waiver acceptances are retained after account deletion: the record of which liability-waiver version you accepted, when, and the language it was shown in documents a legal agreement and is kept for that purpose only.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor these requests regardless of where you live where practical. Email support@fcpickup.app; we'll respond within the legally required window, usually much faster. California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.

8. Children

FC Pickup is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age your region sets for consenting to data processing, e.g. 16 in parts of the EU), and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child is using the app, email us and we'll remove the account.

9. Security and international transfers

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Administrative access inside our team is permission-scoped, protected by two-factor authentication, and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your personal data we'll notify you as the law requires. Our servers are located in the United States; where required for transfers from other regions, we rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. If a change meaningfully affects your rights, we'll notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated policy.
